What is SEO?

SEO or search engine optimization is the process of generating marketing results for a company or website through various forms of paid and non paid advertising. While the actual marketing content takes a variety of shapes, ranging from blogs and how-to guides to infographics, videos, product pages, and anything else that may be relevant to a company, SEO focuses on improving the ranking of this material in organic search results. SEO also involves using analytics software to determine which advertising techniques are most successful. Once a company has this information, it can start producing more content of that type, with the ultimate goal of improving its advertisements over time.

What does an SEO specialist do?

An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specialist is responsible for improving a website's visibility in search engine results pages. They analyze, review, and implement changes to websites to optimize them for search engines like Google.
