Job description

Sensor Tower's insights are trusted by more than 2,500 enterprises worldwide across tech, retail/commerce, entertainment/media, gaming, consumer packaged goods, finance, and investment.
As an Account Executive in Sensor Tower's Investor Vertical, you will have the exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the company's growth by owning the full sales cycle- from sourcing to closing- for hedge funds, private equity firms, and venture capital firms across the globe. Your average day will consist of executing outbound strategy to source prospective accounts (we will hire you a BDR once established), driving deals diligently through the sales process, and ultimately closing deals against a quarterly goal. You will also need to be well versed in the alternative data space such that you can effectively position Sensor Tower's products to investor prospects and communicate feedback internally to our data science and product engineering teams.
We're looking for people determined to accelerate their SaaS sales career, and we appreciate that the best performing sales teams are composed of individuals from many different walks of life.
Base salary: $105,000 - $130,000
OTE: up to $250,000, with an uncapped structure
What you will focus on:
  • Build strategic relationships with investor accounts and develop a thorough understanding of how they use alternative data in their investment process
  • Own the full sales cycle, from open to close, for net new clients
  • Source prospective accounts and run outbound to ensure a healthy pipeline and consistent performance
  • Develop and communicate creative use-cases to highlight Sensor Tower's value-add for an investor's research stack
  • Engage cross-functionally with account management, data science, and product engineering teams to relentlessly iterate on Sensor Tower's offerings

What we are looking for:
  • Must be willing to work in our NYC office 2 days a week
  • 5+ years experience working in SaaS sales, with a preference for those who have targeted the investor or financial services space
  • The ability and willingness to drive their own success by consistently executing outbound strategy
  • An analytical mind for data that can execute research on names within an investor's coverage and thus sell consultatively
  • Those who are humble, hungry, and smart
