ATE Test and Evaluation Engineer

Hauppauge, NY(Onsite) 

ITAR – Only US CITIZENS

ATE TEST AND EVALUATION ENGINEER

Labview, NI Test Stand , Matlab Simulink, Perl, Python, C#, DO 160, NI Hardware

- Bachelor or Masters degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, in the field of Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics.

- Hands on experience on test engineering application software such as NI LabVIEW, NI Test stand.

- Experience in using Python, Robot framework for instrument communication

- Experience in using C,Python,  C#, Matlab for instrument communication and automation is desired

- Experience with using hardware/software integration is a must.

- Good knowledge on various types of measurement and test equipment is a must (dimensional, electrical, electronic, thermal, etc)

- Experience in development/ Upgrading  automated test equipment , avionics, aerospace programs is a plus.

- Experience or knowledge of RS422/RS232, ARINC, AFDX interface knowledge, TCP/IP & Ethernet, UDP and such communication standards, protocols and/or interfaces is desirable

- Experience in managing Software code repositories and Continuous Integration/Deployment is highly desirable
