Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Companionship: Engage with clients through conversation, activities, and social interaction to promote their emotional well-being.
  • Household Assistance: Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications as prescribed, keeping track of schedules and dosages.
  • Mobility Support: Aid clients with walking, transferring, and exercises to maintain their physical health.
  • Documentation: Accurately record client information, progress notes, and any changes in condition to keep our team informed.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a Home Care Aid License 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No professional experience required. Family experience and/or professional caregiver experience is accepted. 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
  • Ability to communicate with office staff, clients, and other caregivers through phone call, text, and email.
