Position Overview
Gold’s Gym is seeking an energetic, motivating, and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to lead safe, effective, and engaging fitness classes for members of all experience levels. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and high-energy environment that inspires members to reach their health and wellness goals while delivering an exceptional class experience.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fitness, enjoys connecting with people, and can confidently lead classes with professionalism, personality, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead scheduled group fitness classes in a safe, professional, and motivating manner 
  •  Provide clear instruction, exercise demonstrations, and modifications for all fitness levels 
  •  Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere for members 
  •  Arrive prepared and on time for all assigned classes 
  •  Maintain class attendance, engagement, and energy levels 
  •  Ensure music, equipment, and room setup are appropriate before each class 
  •  Promote member retention by building strong relationships with participants 
  •  Enforce gym policies and maintain a safe exercise environment 
  •  Stay current on fitness trends, formats, and certifications 
  •  Represent Gold’s Gym in a professional and positive manner at all times

Qualifications
  • Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc.) preferred 
  •  CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within required timeframe 
  •  Previous group instruction experience preferred 
  •  Strong communication and leadership skills 
  •  Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of people 
  •  Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor 
  •  Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed

Preferred Formats (Varies by Need)
Experience teaching one or more of the following is a plus:
  •  Cycle / Spin 
  •  HIIT / Bootcamp

Physical Requirements
  •  Ability to lead classes for 30–60 minutes at a time
