Job description

We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Software Developer opening for our growing insurance company.
The Senior Software Developer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications and services while serving as a technical leader within an assigned product, application, or functional domain. This role delivers complex software solutions, contributes to architecture and design decisions, mentors other developers, and ensures high standards of quality, security, and maintainability.
The Senior Software Developer is expected to effectively leverage AI-assisted and agentic software development tools to improve delivery speed and productivity while maintaining full responsibility for technical decisions, code quality, testing, and production readiness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Five (5) or more years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience developing applications using C#, .NET, and React
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services
  • Own the technical implementation of features and enhancements within an assigned application or functional domain
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions
  • Participate in technical design discussions and document significant design decisions and implementation approaches

Estimated Compensation Range: $120,000/year-$140,000/year*
*Published ranges are estimates. Offered compensation will be based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. In addition, starting salary may vary by position depending on whether the position is in-office, hybrid or remote.
