You also work with JavaScript frameworks, develop tests using testing frameworks, help build and deploy automation scripts, troubleshoot, and resolve app performance issues. As a senior web developer, you may supervise a team of developers and collaborate with user experience designers to determine what the frontend user experience and website layout will look like during the design phase. Other duties may include enforcing coding standards, reviewing the work completed by your team, managing the budget and project schedule, and communicating directly with clients.
