What does a Senior Software Engineer do at Swire Coca-Cola? A Senior Software Engineer at Swire Coca-Cola designs, builds, and maintains modern, scalable applications that support the business end to end. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and product owners to translate needs into high-quality, full-stack solutions using Microsoft and cloud technologies. The engineer leads development across web, mobile, and API-based applications, ensures secure and well-integrated systems, and upholds strong engineering standards. They also provide technical leadership by mentoring junior team members, guiding design and security decisions, and troubleshooting complex issues across environments to deliver reliable solutions on time. Responsibilities:

  • Develop features, enhancements with existing and new applications in the adopted tech stack for the requirements from intake project requests from the business and product teams through requirements inception till deployment to meet budget and timeline constraints either on Azure Cloud-based, On Prem or Hybrid based hosting models
  • Ongoing maintenance of existing applications by prioritizing and resolving any reported issues related to all the applications that Application Development team owns through service requests by the end users across Swire organization in a timely manner based on the priorities., either on Azure Cloud-based, On Prem or Hybrid based hosting models
  • Migrate the legacy applications in App Dev's applications inventory to modern ones through adopted applications sanitization process and tech stack
  • Communicate and coordinate project status/effort with Scrum Master, Project Manager, Applications Development Manager, team members, partner teams, stakeholders, product owners and senior management via scrum meetings cadences and others
  • Troubleshoot and investigate production issues in all environments including Dev, QA and PROD
  • Make sure coding is up to App Dev's adopted coding standards, adhere to secure processes and practices as per the security teams, review PRs, rebase, merge the same from feature branches to main for QA and PROD release using the pipelines with the best Dev Ops practices
  • Understand, propose design solutions and implement for any security vulnerabilities flagged in all the applications
  • Collaborate with the team, solutions partners, IT partners and business leaders to identify automation opportunities and deliver strategic solutions for the requirements/problems based on adopted tech standards which suit the Swire IT ecosystem and security standards
  • Mentor and guide junior team members/interns with the App Dev's applications inventory, repos, setup, troubleshooting, and design approaches

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computers Science, Engineering, or related required
  • 6+ years experience in creating web-based and mobile applications in Microsoft Stack required
  • 6+ years experience in applications development using several programming languages, including, but not limited to C#, asp.net, Web API, APIs, Blazor, React, Angular, HTML 5, CSS, SQL required
  • 2+ years experience with Visual Studio, Azure Cosmos, SQL Server, Snowflake and MS Fabric connectivity, Azure App Services, Azure Docker & Container Registrations, Azure KeyVault, Azure Configuration, Azure Entra, Easy Auth, Middlewares, ADO, Azure Open AI, Azure Communication Services, Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitoring required
  • 2+ years experience in Agile methodology and Scrum, Kanban processes. required
  • 2+ years experience in using and integrating productivity tools like GitHub copilot, SonarQube or any code smell tools, security scanner tools like Veracode, Snyk, etc. required
  • 4+ years experience in developing and automation of complete CI/CD pipelines for applications releases and deployments required
