Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Estimator to be based in Indinaplois, IN.
This position is expected to begin Summer 2026.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Introduced to the Company estimating systems and processes.
  • Introduced to estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
  • Exposed to various processes, project actions and assumptions that may impact estimates.
  • Gathers, calculates and compiles data for use in developing all types of estimates.
  • Performs the routine aspects of estimating assignments.
  • Assists senior specialists in performing various estimating functions as required.
  • Exposed to drawings, specifications, work breakdown structures, charts of accounts, published and internal data used in preparing estimates.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with estimating software ( onscreen take off , ediphi)
  • Experience working for a large general contractor.
  • Previous AECOM internship experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). As well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs
