Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a VMware Systems Administrator to support a program onsite in Pensacola, FL .

For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.


How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

  • Design, implement, and manage VMware Horizon View environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to deploy virtual desktops, manage pools, and provide end-user support.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and stability.
  • Develop and implement VMWare best practices and security protocols.
  • Create and maintain documentation for VDI configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing VDI-related inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to and virtualization.




Requirements:

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Security Plus (or equivalent) certification.
  • 3 years of of System Administration experience.
  • Experienced in VMware VDI administration.
  • Proficiency in VMware Horizon View and related VDI technologies.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of storage solutions, SAN/NAS technologies, and networking.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

What Sets You Apart:

  • VMware VCP (VMware Certified Professional) certification is a plus.

  • Sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer workstation
