Job description

About the Role:
  • As a CBRE Investment Sales Sr. Analyst, you will lead the underwriting and valuation of commercial real estate assets for clients
  • This role is part of the Brokerage job function, working directly alongside senior advisors involved in the valuation and sale of investment properties.
What You'll Do:
  • Utilize and update detailed financial models to underwrite multifamily assets, including discounted cash flow analysis, sensitivity tables, and waterfall structures across acquisition, disposition, and recapitalization scenarios
  • Prepare Broker Opinion of Value (BOV) packages and Offering Memorandums with supporting underwriting, market commentary, and investment thesis narratives
  • Synthesize market data from CoStar, RealPage, Yardi and CBRE Research to underpin pricing assumptions and submarket supply/demand analysis
  • Coordinate with senior brokers and debt/equity advisory teams to align underwriting assumptions with current capital market conditions
  • Track active transaction comps and maintain an internal database of closed deals, cap rates, and pricing metrics
  • Support new business development by preparing pitch materials presentations for prospective client engagements
  • Review and quality-check third-party financial reports, rent rolls, and operating statements to identify discrepancies and normalize historical performance
  • Manage multiple concurrent assignments with tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all client-facing deliverables

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate Salesperson license required.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
