About the RoleTotal Wine & More is seeking a Senior Manager, Transportation to join our Supply Chain team in our Bethesda, MD office. This role leads outbound transportation and logistics operations across the network, performance governance, ensuring exceptional service, cost efficiency, operational reliability, and scalability in support of company growth. This role serves as a key liaison between Transportation, Store Operations, field leadership, Distribution Centers, Finance, and third-party logistics providers, ensuring transportation solutions effectively support store execution, service expectations, and customer experience. This position leverages transportation systems, operational data, and analytics to establish performance expectations, define key metrics, drive accountability, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance visibility across the transportation network. This role also helps evaluate and optimize transportation sourcing strategies and capacity solutions across asset-based carriers, brokered transportation providers, dedicated fleet solutions, and other transportation models to support service, cost, and growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and results-driven leader who can influence cross-functional partners, develop high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and execute initiatives that strengthentransportation performance and support enterprise objectives.
