Job Summary:
Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise software applications and database systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and database systems
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing applications and systems
• Provide technical support and training to end users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and performance
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and system security
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in application development and systems analysis
• Strong experience with SQL Server, database design, and query optimization
• Experience with modern Windows-based and web-based application development such as C#, .NET, and Python.
