Job description

Summary
The Sr. Telecommunication Specialist serves as expert in the technical aspects of video/voice networks and communication technologies. Responsible for design, architecture, installation, modification and maintenance of voice, fax, and video telecommunications systems and services. Performs all services necessary to design, install and move telephone and voice connections including, but not limited to, programming software, basic automatic call distribution applications, call processing applications and other voice applications. Performs all services to repair and troubleshoot pagers, paging systems, wireless and cordless communications systems and telephone connections. Maintains complete and accurate documentation involving completion of service request, resolutions of reported issues, or approved project work efforts. Consistently communicates technical issues with other members of the team. Trains and orients designated staff and provide feedback to manager as appropriate. Develops, manages, and communicates assigned projects and project plans. Designs and implements of VoIP and PBX systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years administering Cisco phone systems, Call-Manager, Unity, Call-Handler, Cisco Cube, Expressways, CIMP
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA collaboration
  • CCNP collaboration
  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows and physician practice operations
