Job Overview

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Komatsu, you will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent that drives innovation, operational excellence, and business growth across the organization. You will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across a diverse portfolio of professional, technical (STEM), and leadership roles, including Digital Office, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Human Resources, and other corporate functions.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR partners, providing market insights, talent strategies, and recruitment expertise to ensure successful hiring outcomes. You will leverage innovative sourcing techniques, data-driven recruiting practices, and strong relationship management skills to deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences while supporting Komatsu's employer brand.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs, define candidate requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical (STEM), and leadership (up to and including executive level) positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Recruit across multiple functions and levels (from individual contributor to executive) while maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness to candidates and hiring teams.
  • Source and engage qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, networking, social media, and other recruitment channels.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and assessments, coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and support hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and extend offers, facilitate candidate negotiations, and partner with HR and hiring leaders throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Partner with external search firms and recruiting agencies for hard-to-fill and specialized positions, establishing clear expectations, managing candidate submissions, and evaluating partner effectiveness.
  • Support employer branding, recruitment marketing initiatives, career fairs, and other talent attraction activities while identifying opportunities to improve recruiting processes and outcomes.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably supporting professional, technical, and corporate functions.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across a variety of disciplines, such as Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Human Resources, or other professional functions.
  • Strong sourcing skills with experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to understand diverse business functions and job requirements and translate them into effective recruiting strategies.
  • Experience building strong relationships with hiring managers and partnering effectively with HR stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and offer management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with recruitment technologies, ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and related HR systems.
Additional Information

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $80,000-$100,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
