Job title: Sr. Tableau Developer
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Required Skills

  • Advanced Tableau development skills, including dashboard design, calculated fields, parameters, filters, data blending, performance optimization, and publishing/maintaining content on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Strong Python programming skills, including data manipulation, automation, reusable scripts, and working with common analytics libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or similar tools.
  • Experience integrating Tableau, Python, and SQL workflows to support reporting automation, data quality checks, analytical insights, and repeatable business processes.
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; master s degree preferred.
  • Skilled in system analysis and software testing using SQL, JIRA, Python-based validation scripts, or other relevant tools.
  • Experience gathering, validating, and interpreting data to explain concepts, answer critical business questions, and support decision-making.
