Northrop Grumman's Global Surveillance Division (GSD) is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer / Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our growing team of qualified and diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, OK and supporting the E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) platform.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Systems Engineering - Integration team within the Engineering homeroom - to include system integration, test plan and procedure development, test execution and reporting, as well as obsolescence analysis and solution development activities.

Perform technical planning, support design reviews, develop tools to communicate and track action items internally and with our customer.

Collaborate with program IPT counterparts supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.

Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature content both internally and externally.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04).

Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience, 3 years with Masters, 1 year with PhD.

Sr Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of related experience, 6 years with Masters, 4 years with PhD.

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading Systems Engineering events (e.g., PDR, CDR).

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Experience resolving issues and providing technical support.

Capable of working with minimal direction and in team environments.

2+ years' experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).

3+ years' experience with Systems Engineering (SE) principles.

Primary Level Salary Range: $93,900.00 - $139,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $116,300.00 - $174,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
