This position will administer and support the company's IT environment, including identity and access management, endpoint management, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, employee technology, and security controls.

The role will serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex technical issues, lead technology and infrastructure projects, and support end user IT activities. The ideal candidate can balance day-to-day operational needs with secure, scalable, and practical long-term solutions.

To support a white-glove employee experience, this position is based on-site at our Seattle office 5 days per week.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other business applications.
  • Manage user access, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, devices, applications, and system updates.
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, hardware, software licensing, and IT assets.
  • Provide high-touch technical support and resolve complex hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues.
  • Oversee help desk operations, ticket priorities, service levels, escalations, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and employee training materials.

Network and Infrastructure

  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networks, firewalls, VPNs, switches, wireless access points, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Monitor system and network performance and implement improvements to security, reliability, and scalability.
  • Support conference-room and audiovisual technology, including Zoom Rooms and Logitech equipment.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners.

Security and Compliance

  • Own IT responsibilities for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness and ongoing compliance.
  • Manage technical controls, audit evidence, access reviews, remediation activities, and auditor requests.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain endpoint, identity, network, vulnerability-management, and security-monitoring tools.
  • Identify and resolve vulnerabilities, control gaps, configuration risks, and audit findings.
  • Support security incident investigation, containment, documentation, and follow-up actions.

Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Lead infrastructure, endpoint, security, software-deployment, and technology-improvement projects.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades, automation, and process improvements.
  • Manage project plans, stakeholders, vendors, timelines, risks, and communications.
  • Balance day-to-day support with longer-term technology, security, and compliance priorities.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience independently administering and supporting a corporate IT environment across identity and access management, endpoint management, networking, collaboration platforms, and end-user support.
  • Advanced experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, user and group administration, role-based access, multifactor authentication, conditional access, enterprise applications, and single sign-on.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and administering Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, endpoint security, and operating-system updates.
  • Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Windows environments, with practical experience supporting macOS devices.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, wireless networks, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Practical experience supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programs, including operating technical controls, collecting audit evidence, conducting access reviews, tracking remediation, supporting risk assessments, and coordinating with auditors.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and maintaining security technologies and controls, including endpoint protection, identity security, vulnerability management, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Experience managing IT service delivery and employee technology lifecycle processes, including help desk operations, ticket prioritization, service-level expectations, onboarding and offboarding, access provisioning, hardware deployment, software licensing, asset management, and escalation of complex technical issues.
  • Experience leading infrastructure, endpoint, security, software-deployment, or technology-improvement projects from planning through implementation.
  • Experience supporting conference-room and audiovisual technologies, including Zoom Rooms or similar platforms.
  • Strong judgment, communication, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to balance hands-on support and immediate operational needs with scalable, long-term technology and security initiatives.
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, ISC2, ISACA, or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other applicable data-protection or privacy requirements.
  • Experience applying ITIL practices in an internal IT environment.
