Job description

Key Responsibilities: Change Management
  • Implement new projects in Local/Foreign Currency Payment Platforms, Reporting, Automation, Middleware, and API Connect areas.
  • Propose, design, and document solutions for critical payment environments.
  • Carry out change management activities, including process definitions and implementations.
  • Provide solution guidance and process enhancements for various environments and systems.
  • Manage vendors and execute projects for specialized areas, including middleware and API Gateways.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Review and validate High-Level Design (HLD) and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot complex design issues and recommend solutions.
  • Lead system integration and ensure seamless delivery of projects within defined SLAs.
Support and Maintenance
  • Provide 24/7 support on a rotational basis.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and deploy tested fixes in production environments.
  • Conduct proactive application maintenance to reduce incidents and ensure system stability.
  • Ensure application availability, adherence to patching cycles, and proper alerting mechanisms.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, including audit, ISG, and lean frameworks.
Operating Environment and Collaboration
  • Coordinate with functional teams and vendors to achieve project goals.
  • Provide administrative support, including status reporting, timesheets, and documentation.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing and team training activities.
Problem Solving and Decision-Making
  • Analyze and address system defects, user issues, and process challenges.
  • Recommend and implement effective solutions to obstacles in systems or processes.
  • Use sound judgment to prioritize tasks and achieve results within deadlines.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10-12 years of experience in payment system design, implementation, and support.
  • Proficiency with UAEFTS, SWIFT, API, and middleware platforms (e.g., MQ, API Gateways).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS), .NET, and payment systems like FED, CHIPS, SWIFT Alliance/Gateway.
