Position & Company Overview

A beloved family-owned bridal boutique is hiring! They proudly represent a nationally recognized bridal brand and have pioneered the first specialty curvy bridal brand. Nestled in Indianapolis, Indiana, they are on the hunt for an Assistant Manager/ Senior Bridal Stylist to join their passionate team. In this dual role, you will collaborate with their management and sales teams to create sales, drive profits, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Reporting directly to the Company Directors and the General Manager/Sales Team Leader, you will be entrusted with setting and surpassing your own sales targets. This position will allow for future growth into a Manager position!

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Management to oversee:

    • Profitable store operations

    • Store presentation and ambiance

    • Supervision of Sales Consultants and all store personnel

  • Assist the Store Manager in training efforts including:

    • Orientation for new team members and ongoing training

    • Sales techniques and product knowledge

    • Elevating customer service standards

    • Upholding our store's visual appeal

    • Ensuring staff compliance with the Company Dress Code

  • Engage in closing sales, consistently working towards set goals

  • Coordinate bridal shows

  • Manage petty cash and store supplies

  • In the absence of the General Manager/Sales Team Leader, resolve personnel and customer service issues efficiently

  • Maintain open communication with Company Directors

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail or sales is a plus

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

Additional Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager may also be required to perform additional duties as directed by the General Manager, Director of Stores, and Company Management.
