Your Opportunity

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Nordmin Engineering USA, Inc., youll provide technical and project leadership on complex mining and industrial projects. Youll work closely with engineers, designers, and drafters while collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What Youll Do

Lead structural and multidisciplinary project teams delivering engineering solutions for mining and industrial clients
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource planning
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineers and design staff
Perform advanced structural analysis, design, and seismic evaluations
Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documents
Coordinate with internal disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
Support field assessments and site visits as needed (approximately 10% travel)
Help strengthen department standards, workflows, and long-term growth initiatives
What You Bring

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (U.S.) required
10+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in industrial and/or mining environments
Strong technical expertise in steel and concrete design (wood and masonry experience is a plus)
Working knowledge of applicable U.S. codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.)
Proficiency with structural analysis/design software (S-FRAME or equivalent)
Proven experience managing projects from concept through construction
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
A leadership mindset, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach
