• Advanced degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required from an ABET-accredited university.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience
• AProfessional Engineer (PE) license is required
• NCEESrecord isrequired
• Experience working within the continental United States
• Must have experience testifying in court
• Proficient technical writing ability
• Ability to perform field visits to existing buildings, construction sites and post-disaster environments
• Proven experience in buildingenvelopesfor both existing and new buildings.
• Must have experience with BlueBeam and Microsoft office software

The ideal candidate will haveengineering, leadership skills,andclientmanagementexpertiseto leadateam -managinginvestigations,performingforensic analysis,andremedial design.In addition, the candidate must haveanabilityto effectively manage multiple projects,monitorscopes of service, andmaintaincorresponding budgets. Mustpossess excellent communication skills to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Licensed P.E. inMassachusetts and/or Florida, with the ability to easily obtainadditionalstates.Possession ofNCEES Recordisrequiredorwill berequiredfor continued employment.

• Conduct forensic analysis of building structures.
• Lead multi-disciplined investigationsofbuildings.
• Analyze building problems and execute field investigations.
• Articulate technical issues in both written and verbal forms for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to testify at depositions and trials

• Build andmaintainstrong relationships with clients.
• Support marketingandsales efforts

• Design structures, both small and large.
• Work independently and in a team setting to perform building investigations, prepare and present written and oral reports.
• Lead amulti-disciplinedteam in the design process, ensuring project success.
• Design remedial repairs for existing buildings.

• Demonstrateexpertisein structural analysis and design.
• Prepare drawings and review submittals, ensuring construction quality.
• Prepare well‑written, compelling reports.
• Understand and apply the Structural Engineer's standard of care.
• Must have experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite software.

• Experience as the engineer of recordprofessionalfor buildings.
• Familiarity with soil-structure interaction and structural dynamics.
• Proficiencyin using structural analysis and design software.

• The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
• The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
• The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
• The ability to work from heights during inspections (from ladders/lifts)
• The ability to operate phones and computers
• The ability to travel via airplanes as needed
