Job description

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to provide technical oversight and leadership for the design and construction of structural systems supporting facility and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong expertise in structural analysis, design standards, and construction oversight, along with the ability to evaluate complex structural requirements and ensure compliance with applicable codes and project specifications.


  • Provide oversight of the design and construction of structural systems for facility and infrastructure projects.
  • Support and review designs involving foundations, steel structures, and load-bearing systems.
  • Analyze structural integrity, weight loading, and stress factors to ensure safe and efficient designs.
  • Review and validate structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform or oversee structural analysis using tools such as ANSYS, GT STRUDL, or similar software.
  • Support welded and bolted connection design, including weld sizing and selection.
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and construction personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance during construction, including resolving field issues and reviewing contractor performance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background and financial check.
  • 12+ years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles for facilities and infrastructure.
  • Experience with structural analysis and modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS, GT STRUDL, or similar).
  • Experience with steel design, including welded and bolted connections.
  • Ability to review and develop structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

USD $100,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
