Ton nouveau role...

Dans ce role, tu seras responsable de la verification, de l'analyse et de la visualisation des donnees de jeu, ainsi que de la transformation d'ensembles de donnees complexes en informations claires et exploitables pour l'equipe AQ, les equipes de developpement et les parties prenantes de la production. Tu appuieras la gestion des taches de l'equipe Analytique AQ, accompagneras les testeur.euse.s dans les bonnes pratiques de visualisation des donnees et agiras a titre de ressource technique cle pour les initiatives de rapports et d'analytique.

Tes responsabilites...

  • Creer des tableaux de bord a partir de la telemetrie de jeu dans Looker.
  • Verifier et analyser les donnees de jeu.
  • Detecter les problemes et les documenter dans notre systeme de gestion des bogues.
  • Communiquer regulierement les constats et analyses aux differentes parties prenantes.
  • Agir comme personne-ressource aupres des testeur.euse.s et partager les informations et les analyses pertinentes.
  • Creer et mettre a jour la documentation.

Qualifications et experience...

  • Diplome ou certificat dans un domaine pertinent (informatique, statistiques, genie, mathematiques, economie, etc.) et/ou reussite de cours postsecondaires en mathematiques et en statistiques.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en production de rapports de donnees
    Connaissance pratique des technologies de bases de donnees et de la programmation SQL (Redshift, Databricks).
  • Experience avec de grands ensembles (data sets) de donnees et maitrise d'outils de visualisation de donnees (Looker, Grafana, Tableau ou equivalent).
  • Experience de travail avec des equipes de conception de jeux et/ou de production
  • Maitrise d'Excel.
  • Bonne comprehension et application des concepts statistiques.
  • Experience avec GitHub, un atout.
  • Experience en assurance qualite (AQ), un atout.
  • Grand souci du detail.
  • Capacite a travailler de facon tres autonome.
  • Sens des responsabilites quant a la qualite des rapports et au respect des echeanciers.
  • Volonte d'ameliorer continuellement les processus de production de rapports.

Your New Role...

As a Senior Data Analyst, QA, you will be responsible for verifying, analyzing, and visualizing game data, and for translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for the: QA department, development teams, and production stakeholders. You will support task management for the QA Analytics team, mentor testers on data visualization practices, and serve as a key technical resource across reporting and analytics initiatives.


Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Create dashboards using game telemetry in Looker
  • Verify and analyze game data
  • Detect problems and document them in our bug management system
  • Communicate findings regularly with different stakeholders
  • Act as a point of contact for testers and share appropriate information and insights
  • Create and update documentation


Qualifications & Experience...

  • Degree or certificate in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics etc.) and/or successful completion of post-secondary level Math and Statistics courses is desired.
  • Proven communication and data reporting skills.
  • Working knowledge of database technology and SQL programming. (Redshift, Databricks)
  • Experience working with large data sets and proficient with data visualization tools (Looker, Grafana, Tableau or equivalent).
  • Experience working with game design and/or production projects
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Application of statistical concepts
  • Experience using Github is an asset
  • Experience in quality assurance testing is an asset
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work very autonomously
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of reports and timeline commitments
