Job description

Daniels Health is growing, and we're looking for a driven Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. While we are a leader in healthcare waste management, our business operates much like a transportation and manufacturing organization, with complex logistics, operational teams, safety-focused processes, and fast-moving workforce needs. In this role, you'll lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, partner closely with hiring leaders, and help build strong talent pipelines that support our continued growth. If you're ready to grow your career with purpose and be part of work that truly matters, Daniels Health is the place for you.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, job advertising, sourcing, pre-screening, interviews, reference checks, offer management, and contract preparation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define role requirements, and develop accurate, compelling position descriptions.
  • Support new hire onboarding to help ensure a seamless, engaging, and positive candidate-to-employee experience.
  • Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, including market insights, compensation benchmarking, candidate assessment, and selection strategy.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and serve as a strategic advisor on talent-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical roles to support current and future business needs.
  • Ensure candidates complete all pre-hire requirements, including background checks, assessments, and other role-specific steps.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company recruitment policies.
  • Research recruiting trends, market conditions, and HR topics to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting a variety of functions across an organization.
  • Experience recruiting for roles across departments such as Operations, IT, Marketing, Finance, HR, Accounting, and other corporate or field-based teams.
  • Proven ability to design and execute effective sourcing strategies for competitive or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused approach with the ability to build credibility and trust with hiring leaders and candidates.
  • Proficiency with recruiting technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, and related sourcing tools.
  • Independent, resourceful, and structured work style with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong alignment with Daniels Health values and a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and service excellence.
$85,161 - $101,267 a year
"The pay range for this position is $85,161to $101,267 base salary. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
At Daniels Health, we are committed to supporting our employees' well-being, work-life balance, and career growth through a comprehensive benefit package. Eligible employees enjoy benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans with company match contributions, paid vacation and sick time, wellness resources, life insurance, and professional development opportunities."
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
