Senior Software Developer
National Capital Region
TS/SCI Polygraph | Hybrid (Remote with Occasional On-Site) | Immediate Hire

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer with a background in full-stack software engineering and distributed systems to support critical defense and intelligence initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, test, and implement secure, distributed microservices using object-oriented programming languages
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to build scalable, user-centered modules for the MARS program (OB, IMD, S/CS modules)
  • Develop RESTful web services and support implementation/hosting using instancing and throttling models
  • Enhance user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 4, Ajax, and HTML5/XML
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, T-SQL stored procedures, views, and SSIS packages
  • Create technical diagrams, high-quality code, and automated test scripts to support development and integration
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission and technical objectives
  • Participate in planning, design, and development discussions to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and maintainability through operational excellence
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures
  • Experience with:
    • REST-style Web API platforms
    • Client-side development (JavaScript, Angular 4, HTML5/XML)
    • SQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, and data integration via SSIS
    • Asynchronous programming, parallel processing, concurrency, and security
    • Software engineering lifecycle best practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in Agile environments
  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting DoD or DIA missions
  • Familiarity with the MARS, MIDB, or OB intelligence domains
  • Additional training or certifications in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, or advanced analytics
  • Experience developing solutions for Space/Counterspace or Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) systems
