Job Description

The Software Developer must come from a technical background with experience in .Net development. The senior software developer resource will work with team members and clients in the development and delivery of customizations generally related to various Microsoft applications and technologies, including SharePoint, Microsoft SQL, Business Intelligence, Dynamics GP, and Dynamics CRM. The Senior Software Developer must have the ability to lead a client engagement and team of technical resources through the entire life cycle of a project, creating opportunity to sell services and software.

Desired Skills & Experience

The Senior Software Developer is primarily responsible for building and overseeing a team of resources to deliver customizations and projects as well as assisting, developing and closing business. They apply well-honed consulting, project management and functional skills in the management of projects. Further, Managers are involved in business development such as project diagnostics, proposal development and sales calls. This is also a hands-on role and the Senior Developer is expected to work on and lead client projects.

Responsibilities 

Lead the development of a conceptual design for an overall business solution

Develop detail work plans and then lead a team of resources to deliver the solution

Team development and management

Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success

Project execution

 Presenting conclusions and recommendations to senior client management

Providing solution implementation assistance as required

Managing client relationships

Active involvement in firm building activities including recruiting, training, performance management, capacity planning, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications

6+ years working in .Net Development, with at least 3 years in a related consulting role

3+ years of experience on MSFT BI stack

Understanding of strategy and operations related to technical consulting and delivery of projects

Possess successful team leadership qualities

Possess successful project leadership abilities

Outstanding client relationship skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

The ability to effectively generate new business

Technical Qualifications

Development experience - ASP.NET, C#, VB.Net

HTML/DHTML/JavaScript/JQuery/VBScript/CSS

Microsoft SQL server, including SSRS and SSIS

Data Mining, T-SQL, Views, Stored Procedures, Database Design

XML/XSL/Web Services

Experience with Dynamics GP or CRM preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
