Overview:
This role involves developing, testing, and debugging software solutions with a focus on Python programming. The senior software developer will work closely with technical teams to address complex issues, implement enhancements, and ensure security and performance standards are met. This role is an on-site opportunity at a government site in Chantilly. Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and debug new or existing software applications in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Address customer feedback by implementing improvements and new features.
- Assist in creating user manuals and documentation for software applications.
- Design desktop interfaces, implement security measures, and integrate software with standard packages and deployment tools.
- Automate application deployment and configuration processes.
- Provide training and support related to software updates and deployment procedures.
