Job description

Fluke is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer with deep expertise in Wi‑Fi and network systems to lead quality engineering for network test and diagnostic tools. You will ensure products deliver accurate, fast, and actionable network insights across enterprise and field environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead test strategies for network test products
  • Validate Wi‑Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/6E) and Ethernet performance
  • Test roaming, latency, throughput, packet loss, authentication
  • Perform packet analysis using Wireshark
  • Develop automation frameworks and network test tools across Windows and Linux environments
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD with hardware‑in‑the‑loop
  • Validate real‑world troubleshooting workflows
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams
  • Mentor engineers and drive quality best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant field
  • 8+ years in software test/quality engineering
  • Strong Wi‑Fi and networking protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Experience with embedded systems testing
  • Programming skills (Python preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD and automation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with network test tools
