As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Retail Tech organization, you will be based in Home Location SC.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and driving projects from concept through production.
• Strong experience supporting and managing Candescent (formerly NCR) or similar Remote Deposit/Capture platforms.
• Java and Microservices/API development, integration, and support.
• OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) deployment and administration.
• Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Connect: Direct administration and managed file transfer support.
• Microsoft SQL Server database support, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Software build, deployment, release, and environment management.
• Vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security compliance.
• Production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Vendor management and coordination for upgrades, issue resolution, and roadmap planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Remote Deposit Capture, banking payments, or financial services applications.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with application resiliency, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.

• Agile delivery and SDLC experience.
