Job description

LockheedMartin's Victor Portfolio of Space Security is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join an Agile, crossfunctional team dedicated to protecting critical space assets. This role will focus on developing webbased applications within an openarchitecture infrastructure that supports missioncritical spacesecurity operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal development teams and subjectmatter experts, and thrive in a fastpaced environment where each day brings new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
FullLifecycle Development - Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and services that enable spaceasset protection.
Agile Collaboration - Participate in Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuousimprovement of team processes.
OpenArchitecture Integration - Build modular, reusable components that conform to openarchitecture standards and facilitate integration with existing and future mission systems.
Technical Leadership - Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive adoption of best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding, performance profiling).
Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with domain experts to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
