This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

AWS Marketplace manages the state of the art complex infrastructure to provide a smooth experience for sellers and buyers to buy various software and services for different domains like infrastructure software, machine learning, and IoT.
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineers to help the team take AWS Marketplace to the next level. As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture

The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from a set of robust platform services, to system level pieces and everything in between. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence. A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential.

This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast. This person has design and implementation experience, knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in-depth knowledge of distributed systems architectures.

They will own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end

This position requires collaboration with other engineers on the team, principal engineers, product managers, and partner teams. You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and should have a desire to create, iterate and improve.
Frontend Development

You will develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js:
Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces based on design specifications
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the application
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
Backend Development

You will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs:
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Design and implement database schemas and optimize database queries
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Develop scalable backend architectures that support the multi-tenant B2B marketplace platform
Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed

You possess strong communication skills since at AWS Marketplace you'll have several opportunities to meet and interact with customers (both buyers and sellers) directly!
