Software Development Engineer In Test – Qa

Location: Berkely Heights, NJ (Onsite)(Locals)

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

Experience level - 9+years

  • 10 + years of experience as a QA/SDET.
  • Well versed with Agile/scrum terminology
  • Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test summary reports,
  • Knowledge and understanding of test management tools like Zephyr, ALM, x-ray
  • Postman and Soap UI experience testing and automating APIs.
  • Good understanding of test data preparation/mocking test data.
  • Understanding of frameworks related to automation based on application.
  • Good communication skills verbal/written, team player.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Jira and Scrum
  • Can-do attitude with incident resolution/troubleshooting
  • Practical experience with the end-to-end Testing, Knowledge or hands-on with DevOps CI/CD pipeline including one or more of the following: Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab.
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Knowledge of mainframe VSAM lookup and JCL jobs.
