Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Contract Length: 9 Months Location: New York, NY Work Setup: Hybrid

The ETS Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Customer Engagement Pega team partners with Customer Operations and Energy Services organizations to deliver critical enterprise technology initiatives. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications that support essential business operations and customer engagement platforms.

Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Responsibilities
  • Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle across Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to define comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Create and maintain automated UI, functional, and regression test suites using modern automation frameworks.
  • Perform hands-on manual testing to validate application functionality and user experience.
  • Enhance and support Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to improve release quality and efficiency.
  • Review, validate, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
