Your role and responsibilities
As a QA/Test Development Engineer, you'll contribute to the design, testing, and support of IBM's industry-leading technologies, including IBM zSystems, IBM Power Systems, IBM Storage, IBM Quantum Systems, with responsibilities such as but not limited to:
  • Install and test hardware systems hands-on.
  • Validate and characterize processors and systems.
  • Support customers and field engineers with technical solutions.
  • Design and test firmware architectures.
  • Analyze failures and improve system reliability.
  • Automate test suites and simulate customer environments.
  • Develop and document test plans and procedures.
  • Contribute to internal and external code repositories.
  • Collaborate with global development teams.
  • Install, configure, and validate AI Large Language Models (LLMs).
