Senior Software Developer

Join Sonova's Manufacturing Software team and help develop the sophisticated solutions that power our production while enabling data-driven decisions for complex manufacturing challenges, delivering high-quality products to our customers.


As a Senior Software Developer, you will apply your expertise to deliver reliable and scalable data-oriented solutions in a collaborative global environment.


Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and support solutions for data analysis and production
Ensure the availability and performance of critical solutions
Contribute into architectural design of state-of-the-art solutions using the latest technologies
Deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet Sonova's code-quality requirements and follow established software architecture
Perform exploratory data analysis and reporting
Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures in accordance with internal SOPs and applicable external requirements
Advance continuous improvement by fostering knowledge sharing, engineering excellence, and team growth

More about you:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
At least five years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with data engineering technologies, including ETL pipelines, Python, SQL, and relational databases
Strong experience with microservices and event-driven architectures; experience with C# is a plus
Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles, including SOLID
Experience with modern software development tools and practices, including Git, Docker, CI/CD, GenAI, Jira, and Confluence
Experience with Databricks, AI or machine learning, or data visualization tools such as Apache Superset is a plus
Precise, self-driven, and quality-focused approach to work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
