Responsibilities * Leverage knowledge of programming languages to design and develop software * Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements * Integrate software components and third-party programs * Verify and deploy programs and systems * Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software * Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms, including mobile systems * Work directly with US Army mission partners to develop solutions for the Warfighter * Gather and evaluate user feedback * Gather and assist in the preparation of epics and features based on user need s * Recommend and execute improvements * Create technical documentation for reference and reporting Qualifications Minimum Qualifications : * Active SECRET clearance * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or related technical field * Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II * Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role * Previous government technology experience * Demonstrated e xperience DEPLOYING software with Agile development methodologies * Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment * Demonstrated Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) * Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure * Ability to show proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python * Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies * Experience using GitLab as a version control system Additional Preferred Qualifications: * Masters Degree * Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologies * Experience working in a consultant/client environment * Familiarity with federal IT standards and policies such as FISMA, NIST, and the RMF process Job Locations US-Remote
