Rate: $54-78/hr W2 depending on experience Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to support a growing federal law enforcement program focused on modernizing mission-critical applications and data-driven capabilities. This role will be responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise software solutions supporting complex operational and analytic requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in object-oriented software development and experience designing scalable applications using modern programming languages and cloud technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on an evolving data-centric environment leveraging advanced analytics, large-scale data processing, and automation to support high-impact national security missions. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting mission-critical operations.
Develop new application capabilities and enhance existing systems through custom software development and third-party component integration.
Create scalable and maintainable solutions that support large-scale data processing and analytics workloads.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and production-ready solutions.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Implement automated processes and tools to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and system maintainability.
Support application modernization initiatives through cloud-based and service-oriented architectures.
