Maintains and provides support to Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Resolves technical issues associated with developed software components and provides Salesforce administrative support. Creates technical documentation and executes software unit testing. Performs Salesforce application development using Agile development frameworks (Scrum). Designs and implements custom integration solutions using ETL software -- Informatica. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications. Develops software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
  • Participates in the development of applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, implementing, and optimizing software applications in cloud environments and enhancing business functionality using Salesforce.com CRM capabilities.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, implementing, and optimizing software applications in cloud environments and enhancing business functionality using Salesforce.com CRM capabilities.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing and implementing advanced and scalable Salesforce solutions using Flow Builder (including Record Triggered Flows, Scheduled Flows, and Orchestration), and custom Apex Classes and Triggers; and optimizing business processes and workflows across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Experience Cloud to enhance system scalability and performance.
  • DE designing and developing Batch Apex, and Queueable Apex following bulkification and Create/Read/Update/Delete (CRUD) & Field Level Security (FLS) enforcement; building reusable Visualforce Pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; implementing state management and event-driven architecture for dynamic, responsive user interfaces; developing normalized data models with custom objects, relationship hierarchies, and field-level security; and configuring complex access control through profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • DE integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and third-party platforms, including Qualtrics for survey management, Informatica for ETL processes, and Splash for event management; building secure REST and SOAP API connections using OAuth, JWT, and Named Credentials; and validating payloads with JSON schema for data integrity.
  • DE implementing DevOps best practices for Salesforce using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Gearset, Flosum, Jenkins, and GitHub; automating deployments with Salesforce DX, validating metadata integrity; and enforcing code quality through static analysis tools -- program mistake detector (PMD) for Apex, ECMAScript Linter (ESLint) for LWC, and Salesforce CLI Scanner.
