Location: Remote/Hybrid (U.S. – limited to specific states)

While this role is remote/hybrid, at this time we are only able to consider candidates who reside in the following states due to employment registration and tax requirements: Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering team. This role is primarily focused on back-end development using Ruby on Rails and Postgres, with opportunities to contribute to front-end and infrastructure work as well. You’ll work independently on development tasks while collaborating closely with teammates on planning, reviews, and decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build new features within a microservices architecture
  • Propose and implement technical solutions in collaboration with the team
  • Participate in planning sessions, code reviews, and architecture discussions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Project Management, along with other groups within the organization
  • Contribute to the growth of the team and technical best practices
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer
  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React
  • Experience working in a microservices environment
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a remote team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker and AWS
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Financial Services industry experience (consumer lending)
Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $170-200K annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and geographic market.
