Job description

Avion Solutions Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Software Developer to support the Corpus Christi Army Depot. This position is located in Corpus Christi, TX.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Integration of diverse databases combining parts, technical data, repair, and overhaul information.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency in reviews of maintenance and overhaul plans, parts research, and trend analysis.
  • Extract data from various databases and analyze trends.
  • Work in a team environment with close coordination between engineers, programmers, analysts, and management.
  • Support CREATE Lab repair, development, and reverse engineering efforts.
  • Remain informed on emerging technologies and best practices to improve development processes continuously.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
  • BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of programming/engineering experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3D scanning, reverse engineering, repair development, technical data package generation, and additive manufacturing.
  • Object-oriented programming language experience.
  • SQL Database experience.
  • Power BI or alternative Data Visualization tools experience.
