Job Summary:
Keylent Inc is seeking a Senior Mainframe Engineer to develop and maintain PACCAR's Mainframe applications. This role involves working with customers to define solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide system administration support.
Responsibilities:
• Work with customers to define, design and propose alternative solutions in response to changing business needs.
• Work with customers to troubleshoot reported issues.
• Provide system administration support.
• Must be able and willing to work weekends and evenings to support on call responsibilities as needed is required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Five years software engineering experience including code development, scripting, workflow and data mapping.
• Five years mainframe support experience: COBOL, IMS (DB), DB2, CICS, JCL
• Advanced computer system skills including use of word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or as a team member.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• A four year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field desired.
Preferred:
• PACCAR systems experience a plus
