Kajabi is undergoing a transformation and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their engineering team. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable systems and APIs in Ruby on Rails and React.
• Take ownership of systems end to end including reliability, observability, and long-term maintainability.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of how you work, accelerating delivery, prototyping solutions, and writing better code faster.
• Bring genuine product thinking to the table: engage in discovery, ask questions about user behavior, and help the team make smart trade-offs between customer value and technical complexity.
• Use data and customer research to inform your technical decisions and advocate for the right solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product, and Design; not just during implementation, but during planning and discovery.
• Lead system design conversations and contribute to architecture decisions that affect your team's long-term direction.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and bring that same standard to your code reviews.
• Mentor other engineers by sharing context, giving thoughtful feedback, and helping them grow.
