A Senior Software Developer AI Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and refining AI models by providing expert-level training data and feedback. They combine their software development expertise with knowledge of machine learning to help improve the performance, accuracy, and reliability of AI systems. This role often involves collaborating with data scientists, annotating or generating training data, evaluating AI outputs, and ensuring models align with user and business needs. Senior AI trainers also mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in AI model development and deployment.

How does a senior software developer AI trainer typically collaborate with data scientists and product teams?

As a Senior Software Developer AI Trainer, you will regularly work alongside data scientists to design, implement, and refine machine learning models. Collaboration often involves interpreting data requirements, integrating model outputs into applications, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of AI solutions. You’ll also interact with product teams to align AI features with user needs and business goals, often participating in cross-functional meetings to clarify technical constraints and prioritize development tasks.
