Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Architect to lead enterprise architecture, solution design, and delivery for mission‐critical systems. This role involves deep collaboration with business stakeholders and delivery teams to influence technology decisions and ensure alignment with business goals while driving innovation and modernization.
Responsibilities:
• Provide architecture leadership for enterprise .NET‐based solutions
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define end‐to‐end architecture
• Design scalable, secure, and cloud‐native microservices and backend systems
• Lead architecture reviews, roadmaps, and technology strategy
• Partner with Product, UX, QA, and Engineering for solution delivery
• Guide development teams with best practices, design principles, & code quality
• Oversee cloud adoption and application modernization initiatives
• Ensure platform security, performance, integration, & reliability
• Lead POCs and evaluate new emerging technologies
• Create architecture artifacts, design documents, and integration models
• Support production architecture, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years in .NET backend development; 4+ years in software architecture roles
• Hands‐on expertise with .NET/ .NET Framework, C#, microservices, REST APIs
• Strong solution design & cloud experience (Azure required)
• Strong SQL + NoSQL expertise and data modeling
• Hands‐on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Integration experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ & 3rd‐party services
• Experience setting up CI/CD & DevOps strategy
• Experience implementing enterprise security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
• Strong understanding of enterprise system design & integration
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management
• Ability to lead cross‐functional & distributed teams
• Strong presentation & architectural storytelling skills
• Decision‐making mindset with strong ownership
Preferred:
• Experience working directly with U.S. customer stakeholders
• Event‐driven and domain‐driven design experience
• Exposure to React/Angular architecture collaboration
• Experience with serverless & API management tools
