Job Summary:
Yardi pioneers the property tech industry by seamlessly blending tradition with innovation. The Senior Security Analyst will monitor security events, lead incident response efforts, and mentor junior analysts to enhance the organization's security posture.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze security events and logs to detect potential threats and conduct in-depth investigations
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid identification, containment, and mitigation of security threats with minimal business impact
• Perform advanced threat analysis and root cause investigations, incorporating threat intelligence into proactive threat hunting activities
• Design, implement, and enhance security detections, automations, and mitigation strategies to strengthen overall security posture
• Provide escalation support and mentorship to level I and II analysts while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve incidents and drive corrective actions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information security, computer science, or related field
• Five plus (5+) years of experience working with security solutions and technologies
• Five plus (5+) years of experience working with information/endpoint/network security
• Five plus (5+) years of Security Operations Center experience
• Professional Security Certification
• Advanced knowledge of security incident response processes and root cause determination
• Demonstrated proficiency with Information Security technologies (EDR, NDR, IPS, WAF, SIEM, etc.)
• Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), security methodologies (ACL/NAC), and topologies
• Advanced proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux workstation and server operating systems
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and across functional business units
• Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to follow through to completion
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL
• Deep knowledge of advanced TTPs
• Demonstrated mentorship and training capabilities
• Proven success analyzing, responding, and remediating network intrusions, web application, and server attacks
• Solid understanding of Information Security Methodology
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Preferred:
• Experience with Endpoint Protection Platforms (PAN XSIAM or XSOAR preferred), Network Intrusion Protection Systems, and Web Application Firewalls
• Experience with SIEM and Security Automation including authoring SIEM dashboards and widgets using advanced queries
• Experience leading incident management process
• Experience with integrating threat intelligence into advanced threat hunting
• Experience creating security tooling, scripts, and automation
