Job description

Job Title: Senior SAP Basis Administrator
Location: League City, Texas
Reports to: Manager, SAP Basis Administrator
Leveling Note: Based upon candidate qualifications, another job level may be considered (Lead SAP Basis Administrator)
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrator to support and optimize our SAP environment, including key projects tied to system upgrades and our transition to S/4HANA. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who thrives in a complex enterprise setting and can independently manage SAP Basis administration across business-critical systems.
What You Will Do
  • Administer, maintain, and support SAP systems across a complex enterprise environment
  • Lead technical support for SAP Basis activities, including upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system stability
  • Support major SAP initiatives, including upgrade efforts and the transition to S/4HANA
  • Partner with infrastructure, networking, database and SAP technical teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability
  • Contribute to disaster recovery readiness, documentation, and ongoing operational improvements.
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to support SAP-related production issues
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience considered
  • 6+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience supporting SAP landscapes and modules such as ECC, BW, PI, Solution Manager, and S/4HANA
  • Technical fluency in Linux and Windows administration
  • Experience with SAP upgrades, installations, maintenance, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of DB2 and broader enterprise application environments is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating across technical teams
