The Centralized Distribution Center receives and processes inbound shipments, inventories, and issues hardware across several factory and lab locations. We work collaboratively with our teams across Logistics and with cross functional areas. The Sr Logistics Analyst will manage primarily manage inbound expedite requests, resolve discrepant shipments, and develop expert knowledge of Logistics processes to include reconciling inventory and troubleshooting issues. Tasks to be performed will entail providing strong organizational management and develop an understanding of contract labor. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively.

What You Will Do

  • Review, assign and/or resolve expedite and hold requests submitted by Internal teams,
  • Procurement/Purchasing, Operations, Planning, Engineering, etc.
  • Provide updates and guidance on system use and redirect when necessary.
  • Work in SAP/PRISM to update requests and route to appropriate operation.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activities with Receiving, Quality Inspection, Warehousing, and Transportation.
  • Learn and understand SAP/PRISM Purchase Order types, Inventory positions, Dock to Stock activities/metrics, and issuing items to Factories/Labs.
  • Support analysis of material flow and inventory management systems and transportation systems.
  • Provide status on requests to ensure that equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Work daily to update/resolve requests to meet customer requirements.
  • Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage.
  • This is an onsite position in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Work experience in a customer support/service role resolving customer concerns/requests.
  • Demonstrated tracking records and reconciliation of issues.
  • U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
