Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Qualification Engineer consisting of a highly organized Technical Documentation & Change Control Specialist to support cross functional teams in the creation, management, and progression of technical and compliance documentation. This role will be responsible for coordinating and driving documentation of individual or multiple Capital Project activities related to Change Controls, Management of Change (MOC), IQ Qualification Protocols and Reports, Risk Assessments, Documentation Transfer and other regulated documentation embedded within and outside of the above-mentioned. The ideal candidate will act as a facilitator to ensure documentation moves efficiently through review, approval, and implementation stages while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the full documentation lifecycle, including Change Controls and MOCs, Installation Qualification (IQ) Protocol/Reports, Risk Assessments (authoring and/or facilitating), and other required technical, operational, and quality documentation.
* Coordinate and drive cross functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Process & Product Engineering, EHS, Facilities, and Maintenance to ensure documentation progresses in a timely manner, including collecting required inputs, resolving documentation gaps, and obtaining all required reviews, approvals, and signatures.
* Development through implementation or update various technical documents, including Installation Protocols using associate Client Project Engineer inputs and/or Equipment User Requirement Specifications, Lock-Out-Tag-Out Documentation, Preventative Maintenance Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and other critical Project Qualification Documentations. This can relate to New or Modified Equipment to Pensacola site.
* Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously while serving as the central point of contact for documentation status, priorities, timelines, dependencies, and issue resolution.
* Ensure documentation meets internal standards, regulatory expectations, best practices and Compliance ensuring adherence to ISO9001, ISO 14001, PSM and Client QMS requirements. Independent Client QMS System Training to be provided.
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience in technical writing, documentation management, or change control within a regulated or technical environment.
* Strong understanding of documentation workflows, approval processes, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and follow up skills with attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse cross functional teams.
* Bachelor"s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 5-8 years of equivalent experience in technical documentation, change control, or regulated environments.
* Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
* Technical background or experience working closely with engineering, manufacturing, or process teams.
* Experience writing or facilitating risk assessments.
* Familiarity with change management systems, quality systems, or regulated environments (e.g., manufacturing, pharma, medical devices, aerospace, or similar) specifically Veeva, Gen-suite and/or Magic Programs.
* Experience coordinating reviews and approvals across multiple departments.
* Understanding of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) or Process and Instrumentation Diagrams(P&IDs), Engineering Terminology and Process Equipment Functionality.
