Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to ensure product quality standards and implement quality improvement initiatives. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Manufacturing Quality department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Sr. Quality Engineer will develop and maintain quality systems, support manufacturing operations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality system procedures and documentation
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and statistical analysis of manufacturing processes
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for warranty claims and product nonconformance
  • Perform hardware/software analysis including DTC testing, bench testing, and PCB component investigations
  • Manage and execute CAPA projects using problem-solving and statistical tools
  • Maintain Risk Management documentation including Risk Analysis, FMEAs, and validation reports
  • Support internal/external quality audits and compliance activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and quality control processes
  • Design and implement inspection methods and testing procedures
  • Lead process and test method validation activities
    Monitor supplier quality performance and coordinate corrective actions for supplier-related issues
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics dashboards to track performance and identify trends
  • Facilitate training on quality procedures, standards, and tools for production and support staff
  • Lead quality planning activities during project kickoff phases (APQP, PPAP as applicable)
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management system standards
  • Participate in customer meetings, audits, and quality reviews as needed
  • Analyze field returns and customer complaints to drive long-term quality improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality
  • Technical expertise in SMT, electronics, PTH, AOI, and electronic measurement instruments
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or DMAIC methodology experience preferred
  • ASQ Quality certification desired
  • English communication and presentation skills required
